Reasons for Falling of Students Proficiency Rates and the Resource Depletion in the Computation of gross domestic product - Assignment ExampleAlso, I think another soil would be that even if federal funds to be allocated are substantially big when it is split among numerous public schools all over the country, the end amount may be considerably small already. It may be so small that it is already insufficient to have any bearing on the improvement of proficiency rates. To address this, the act intends to focus on those schools that need the funds more. This is the very reason why there are conditions imposed. To growth the funds of schools with satisfactory student proficiency rates would be a waste of resources. In my opinion, forest resources are to be considered as capital. Trees in the forest provide a lot of benefits, especially in the envi ronment. And I recognize the fact that it is very important to keep a growing forest. However, foregoing to being cut down, trees cannot be considered as a product. For me, trees that are still part of the forest cannot be considered as consumption or as an trade for the computation of GDP. Nor can they be considered as an investment because there is no spending involved.Hence, if forest resources are capital, its depletion should be considered as depreciation in the capital. flagrant means that capital depreciation is not considered or subtracted in the equation of GDP. Otherwise, we come up with the Net Domestic Product. As to whether or not an increase in forest resources should be added to GDP, in my opinion, the answer is no. As previously stated, I believe forest reserves are merely capital. As such, decrease or increase in the number of trees in our forest must be considered as a capital loss or ingest - which is considered in the computation of NDP, not GDP. I believe th at to add it to GDP would cause inaccuracy. The trees, if not cut down would not result in an substantial commercial gain.

Shareholder Wealth Assignment Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1500 words

Shareholder Wealth - Assignment ExampleSuch claims are limited by the proportion of ownership derived from the amount of the authorisement.Shareholders who invest have one common goal maximise the value of invested wealth. Every investment decision is made with the expectation that its value would increase over time. Shareholders do non necessarily manage the business, so they hire managers as their agents to increase the value of their (shareholders) wealth such that there would be enough profits for everybody. A portion of these profits is given back to owners through dividends whilst the balance may be re-invested to create to a greater extent wealth. The agency theory describes the dynamics of the relationship and capability conflicts of interest between shareholder-owners and manager-agents.How shareholder wealth is measured indicates how managers can maximise it. For any business with more than one shareholder, the ultimate measure of shareholder wealth is the share price, t he value of one share of ownership in the business. Share valuation follows a systematic process based on the value of the corporations assets, which contact its liabilities plus stockholders equity, all information available from the balance sheet. At start-up, the value of a share is derived from dividing equity by the number of shares offered. Once the business generates profits, bullion can be distributed as dividends to shareholders or re-invested in the business. Profits increase assets and the value of the shareholders equity, thereby increasing each shares value. Or, assets can increase with debt, but it does not automatically follow that stockholders equity would stay the same, decrease, or increase. The effects of debt depend on what managers do with it, and whether or not borrowing allows the corporation to generate more bills. At some future time, when a shareholder decides to sell the shares, both buyer and seller only need to analyse the balance sheet to correspond on the price. However, a single share of stock is not only a claim on the assets the corporation owns today, or the value of the shareholders equity now. It is excessively a claim on future profits and the future merchandising price of the share. Neither is the investment totally risk-free, since the shares value could drop because of mismanagement and bankruptcy. happen is part of valuation because of the risk-return relationship. Therefore, a shares value today is calculated by getting the benefaction value of 1) Cash dividends until the shares are sold 2) Proceeds from selling the shares or if the corporation ceases operations, 3) The firms break-up value after selling assets to pay off liabilities.Financial analysts simplify share valuation by focusing on the present value of cash dividends, making the convenient assumptions that shares would not be sold and the business would not be closed. Since cash dividends are equivalent to the free cash flow (FCF), the value of a share n ow is the present value of the FCF stream discounted at the rate of return investors expect to receive on parallel investments.FCF is not profits, which can be re-invested or given out as dividends. Rather, FCF is the cash not retained nor

Use of the financial statements to make business decisions Essay

Use of the financial statements to make business ends - Essay ExampleWhen the calculations are done, they indicate that at a set of $40.97, the Coca-Cola Company spent a total of $4,015.06 gazillion to repurchase 98 million of gross shop in 2014. On the other hand, at a price of $37.11, the company used a total of $4,490.43 million to purchase 121 million shares in 2012. This indicates that the company spent just $475.37 million to repurchase 23 million more shares in 2012, which means that the extra shares only cost an average of $20.66 per normal stock repurchased in 2012. This simply goes to show that the extra shares of common stock that were purchased in 2012 above the 98 million mark were very, compared to the price of the common stock in 2014, since they cost 50% less. Additionally, if the Coca-Cola Company had to repurchase 121 million common stocks in 2014, it would encounter used a total of $4957.37 compared to $4490.43 that the company used to repurchase 121 million common stick on 2012, which shows that the Coca-Cola Company would have saved a total of $466.94 million, if it would have purchased more common stocks in 2012. Therefore, based on these calculations, it would be much cheaper for Coca-Cola Company to repurchase more common stock when the prices are lower since it would save a lot of money. To take any decisions related to elicit aims keeping in mind the afoot(predicate) inflation drift, the Fed must be thorough with the booming property prices and must take steps to ensure that the prices are not artificial.Government intervenes by dint of its central bank to regulate the prices of many commodities, similarly it also regulates the prices of houses like any other important commodity. Fed has the responsibility to keep a check on asset prices including the prices of houses. There can be a number of reas ons why the prices of houses may shoot up, like the simple rule of demand and cut has a definite impact. (The UK Housing Market - Factors Influencing the Housing Market Mortgages) The Fed has a monetary policy and uses the same to regulate instrument of the economy and deal with such erratic swings in the prices of property. Like when it decides to change the interest rate, the government is trying to check the overall expenditure of the economy. A change in interest rates is mostly used to contain inflation, which is the result of lavish expenditure by the country. The Fed sets a fixed interest rate at which it lends money to financial instit utions and depending on this interest rate, individual banks and other financial institutions set up their own interest rates, which apply to the whole economy. This interest rate also regulated the savings in an economy, which eventually results in capital formation and reinvestment. It is note that when interest rates are high, people select to invest money in government deposits that are less risky in nature than the stock markets and similarly high interest rates ascending up the savings. Lower interest rates induct asset and real estate prices go up, as people start ignoring conventional saving instruments and make use of the high growth ventures like shares and houses, which pushes up their prices. Interest rate change also affects exchange rates, as an increase in the interest rate in US will yield better returns to the investors compared to their overseas ventures. This phenomenon usually makes US dollar assets attractive, which pushes up the value of the currency vis a v is other currencies, and a stronger US dollar would mean less money would be shed on imports and less quantity of exports will take place as in that respect will a lesser demand for products made in US because of the currency being strong. It is interesting to have a look at the abut of how the bank sets interest rates. The primary step in this direction starts with the estimates of the money flow that

However, this is not the only approach to forecasting inflation. The other approach relies on certain secernate indicators of inflation. These key indicators take into consideration factors such as c ommodity prices, gold prices, and other composite indicators which are then used to forecast the inflation rates. When the inspector left Shelia was the first psyche to question whether he was a police inspector or not, she doesnt se em to care if he was a fake because she believes it should have made them all realise what they had done wrong and change but the only people who did realise what had gone wrong and the only people who had actually changed where her and Eric. She believes that the truth came out that night and made everyone confess and that is the only important thing that happened that night, not whether or not the inspector was a police inspector or not. When Shelia talks to original people she is a confident speak I should jolly well think not, this shows shes not afraid to stand up 4 her self or against other people. She asks a lot of questions and had a great deal of curiosity about the case What was she like?, Was she young?, What was her name?, these quotations show that she is eager to know all the information that people will tell her and she wants to know everything. When you play Shelia when you talk about Eva you should sounds slightly distressed and concerned, Sorry its just I can help thinking about this girl destroying herself so horribly, she obviously is in a great deal of distress when she talks about Eva and thinks about her death and how she was a part of it. Also she questions her fathers decisions a lot I think sacking her was a mean thing to do, These girls arent cheap labour they are people. When your vie Shelia you must remember that during act 1 you should be quite snobby and self-centred as Shelia only thought about her self and she was a jealous character. During act 2 you can start the see the changes so dont forget to start being more sympathetic towards other peoples stories involving Eva. In act 3 you can she that the change in her attitude is complete as she learns her responsibilities of others less fortunate and is sensitive towards others and their feelings. Also I think you should wear a dress of that period or something along those lines to do with the upper class fashion during 1912.

Remember the Titans Review Essay Example for Free

Remember the Titans Review EssayThe movie Remember the Titans is adept of the most inspiring sports movies in recent memory.. This is due to the performances of Denzel Washington as well as others in the cast just now its success can also can be attri aloneed to the fact that the story was based on real life events. As is the case with most movies, those that are based on fact, no matter how loosely, usually seem to add to the drama that mindless action movies which are big on special effects and small on acting and story. Remember the Titans is not one of those movies because the racial tensions that were associated with busing and school integrating in the last 1960s and 1970s was one of the divisive extractions during that time. For a young, contemporary society, it whitethorn seem difficult to be able to undefeatedly transplant oneself into that specific time and place and to wonder aloud, what the entire plaza was all about. There were tensions that came from the com mingle of the two groups, regardless of their color. Many players at T.C. Williams were counting on a starting spot for the football team, only to have many of the positions challenged due to the consolidation of the school.Due to the fact that the school that is being meshed into T.C. Williams is a predominately African American school, with the setting of the story taking place in 1970 Virginia, only adds to the frustrations on the part of the athletes from both schools. This reality places a stress on the already fragile relationships that the white and black players as well as students have for each other. However, in the end, the story has a happy ending and the school not only successfully integrates, but has one of their most successful years on the football field. One of the major sources of debate within Titans is the way in which Herman Boone receives the head coaching job at T.C. Williams. The school has been integrated and the football team, a bastion of relief and ex citement for the masses in Alexandria, Virginia. Within the movie, it is plainly seen that the majority of white students and their families are not in favor of the integration of the school. What is the source of even more resistance is the fact that Herman Boone, not because of his virtue but simply because of his race, is being made head coach over the current coach, plug-in Yoast who has had his share of awards given to him for his splendid coaching record in the past. The school board feels that this is the appropriate choice to make as they believe that it allow for athletic supporter the town to ease into the idea. This is not ethically right or proper. There is not way of knowing exactly how well the team would have fared if the coaches were picked on their merit instead of on race, but it seems that as long as starting positions on the field were earned by the physical and mental merit of the players, so too should the coaches be made to honor the idea of creating a merit ocracy as well. What is not acceptable and is seen as the central aspect of the movie, are the relationships betwixt the players from both of the schools. At first, many of the players on both sides did not want to befriend their competition with regard to the specific starting position that they were hoping to earn but also their competition in society as well. It is the efforts of Julies and Bertier, the leaders of their respective former schools and on that pointfore, is divided by racial lines, which help to make the transition from two separate teams into one a bit easier. The two characters are very forceful on the football field as it is required to remain successful but they are also equally as forceful with regard to the integration of their fellow teammates. Both are resistant to the experiment by one time they get on board with the idea, the rest are sure to follow. This is the true sign of a leader but also of the team recognizing the fact that they sine qua non to co me together as a team in order to win.Cohesiveness of a team is what every coach strives to achieve. The second source of tranquillize and rational thinking in the face of a situation that many on the team might respond to with hatred and bigotry, comes from Coach Boone and Coach Yoast. Yoast will eventually see the bigger picture and swallow his own feelings of mistreatment and submit to the will of the school board and usually, to the will of coach Yoast. He had such a stellar coaching record because he knew how to win. The same can be said about Coach Boone as well.He does not like the situation in which he was picked to coach T.C. Williams but he resolves that this is not only good for his career in the long run, but for the cohesion of the entire company as the football team serves as the center of life in Alexandria, Virginia. In the special features, the real coaches are shown talking as old friends and there is nothing to suggest that is not the case in real life. But the relationship of the two coaches, as was the case with the players, was a contentious one.Race plainly played a central role in the actions of the T.C. Williams football team. People are a product of their environment and Alexandria, Virginia expressed loudly, their feelings about the forced integration of their school as well as the football players did the same. But Coach Boone and Yoast as well as the majority of football players on the team agnize what it took to win. All had enjoyed winning seasons before the integration of the school.Had the teams never enjoyed victory and never yearned for success within their daily lives, there might have been little hope for this experiment to have succeeded. Only those living there at that time can accurately describe what life was really like during those times but the ethical behavior of the majority of players as well as their recognition of what it takes to win in this life, eventually became the paramount reason as to why the team w ent on to have a successful season and racial strife within the team unity could only be seen as a urge on bump if they wished to continue to win.WORKS CITEDBruckheimer, Jerry. Famous serial killers Essay Example for Free

Famous series killers EssayThe life of famous serial killers is perpetually an interesting topic. What did the serial killer do? How did he do it? Why did he do it? Who were his victims? Did he allow the victims to suffer? The most interesting marvel is what will trigger a man to be neck a nonorious serial killer? (What Makes a Serial Killer Tick? 2002, p.1) Several theories pass been offered to explain why persons commit crime or why people become serial killers. Some attribute it to psychological, biological and sociological factors (Zelda G. Knight, 2006, p.2).This paper seeks to point that as much as we desire to explain every human race phenomenon, there is a limit to how far human substantiateing can reach. Since the human brain is a complex organ it is very difficult to explain human behavior using a wholeness theory. Thus, in order to understand human behavior all factors must be taken into account as they all have an influence in human behavior. The case of Jeff rey Dahmer who was a famous serial killer proves this point. He killed and cannibalized 17 men and boys between 1978 and 1991 (Mark Marve, 1994, p.1). He is considered one of the most hateful serial killers in history. As a child he found pleasure in killing and in mutilating animals wish nailing a dog to a tree and crucifying squirrels in his backyard (April Washington 2007, p.1). He also performed weird experiments with different animals. During his trial, it was found out that he collected dead animals and had sex with them. His stepmother stated that when he was still young, he enjoyed using bitter to remove the meat off dead animals.According to some theories, individuals become serial killers because of history of p bental neglect and abuse. Based on these theories the behavior of serial killers can be explained by understanding his family and how he was raised. In his case, Jeffrey Dahmer came from a family who was known to be very religious. While it was true that his fath er was very engross at work and spent little time for his family, there was no recorded incident of violence in his family. On the other hand, there are some theories that say that a persons peers, friends and the people he associated with may explain his criminal behavior. In his case, Jeffrey Dahmer was extremely shy and was regarded as loner when he was still young. He was afraid to go to school and he was terrified when he was with people. At school, he had no friends and he did not like to be with people. It can therefore be gleaned that Dahmer did not associate himself with bad friends as he had no friends.Marquis de Sade (2001) once said that wiz must feel sorry for those who have strange tastes, but never insult them. Their wrong is Natures too they are no more responsible for having come into the world with tendencies unlike ours than are we for being born bandy-legged or well-proportioned. (p.3)Based on the facts stated, human behavior cannot be explained using a single theory alone. There are some individuals who do things that are different from what formula people do. While these acts should not be condoned, these individuals who do these acts should not be insulted because these things do happen. In some cases, these events may happen even against the persons volition. The point is that explaining human behavior in terms of family background or environment does not suffice. Jeffrey Dahmer grew up with a religious and educated family. He did not grow up in a bad neighborhood. He was not maltreated nor physically or sexually abused by his parents. There was likewise no indication that he had a bad social environment. tender behavior cannot be explained using just one theory. Researchers need to find out the totality about the person. Factors such as the biological, psychological and sociological factors should be taken into account in determining the causes that make a person a serial killer. In this case, the lack of attention and parental love from his parents cased Dahmer to behave differently than an ordinary child. His social isolation was also a factor as he did not have anybody to share his thoughts and feelings depriving him of a normal childhood and a normal life. All these factors when taken together are sufficient to explain human behavior.

It was in the late of the 20th century when finally the word intellectual property gained grandeur in the realism. It gained the some realization and importance firstly in the United States of America.Intellectual property decl beers with the help of intellectual property rights benefit from their intellectual property by earning monetary gains from it. much(prenominal) property provides financial incentives to them. As the economic insures of the world claim force better more(prenominal) and more emphasis on intellectual property rights is existence given these days.Especially in developed countries desire U.S.A. and U.K. intellectual property plays a major role in the overall economy of these countries. As commodious as two thirds of the total assets of these countries can be traced back to nothing more than intellectual property i.e. intangible assets. Not only this, a new study has found that businesses which have intellectual properties as their assets were earning more revenues than companies which did not have any intellectual property. Some economists suggest that strengthening the intellectual property system directly benefits the overall economic conditions of enterprises.Intellectual property rights are usually applicable to goods and services which can usually be used by one and all. This implies that even though a person may claim to have an intellectual property right on any given good, this willing not stop or hinder any other person from using such goods. Intellectual property recognises the efforts of an individual. For example we can say that a certain individual formulated a given scientific formulae and he got intellectual property rights over that formulae. Even in such a condition anyone and everyone who wishes to use that scientific formulae for an experiment is allowed to use it, the creators intellectual property rights do not and cannot bar him from using that formulae. Moreover economists in any case agree that patents and copyrights do not create monopolies they just simply act as rewards for people who have discovered new things. They only facilitate monetary rewards for the discoverers as remuneration for their efforts but in no possible way do intellectual property rights create monopolies.Although intellectual property has gained a lot of importance around the world, but it has never stayed out of controversies and it has always been criticised by many. Some go up to the level and claim that the term intellectual property itself is meaningless and creates confusion and is of no use at all. Some economists guess that copyrights and patents are harming the thought of a free world where anyone and everyone have equal rights to do business. Some people believe that intellectual property rights harm public interests. The intellectua l property laws bring to expand more and diversify more in order to gain importance and credit.WHAT IS INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY EXACTLY?Intellectual Property more commonly known just as IP is nothing more than the creations of a mind of an individual. These create various inventions, names, images, design etc. Intellectual property is usually sub-divided into two categories Industrial intellectual property and Copyrights.Industrial intellectual property includes acts the like inventions, trademarks and industrial discoveries etc. Copyrights may include works of subterfuge and literature. These may be poems and novels and plays etc.Any kind of innovation by an individual or a group can be called as their intellectual property. Even traditionalistic discoveries by local communities are their intellectual property. But since these practices are traditional so close to of the times they are not given the status of creation intellectual property. We pauperization to understand that mo st of the things around us have an origin and at some point of time in the history they must have been invented. Anyone who was involved in inventing that device or article can claim that object to be his or her intellectual property. Intellectual property rights have a huge impact on international trade and endemic trade. In todays modern world intellectual property and its rights have become more eventful. With the invention of internet and as the world has become more and more dependent on using internet the chances of ideas beingness stolen and being use have become higher and higher. Due to this people who invent or discover anything new have to get them patented or copyrighted as soon as possible. Misuse of ideas generated by other persons has become one of the most common crimes of these days and the only sufferers are the inventors and discoverers.Ideas are becoming a more and more great aspect of trade in the modern world. all told kinds of high technology products in the market today are born out of great ideas of individuals. Invention, research, design these are the pillars over which new discoveries are being made today.Intellectual property rights have added a lot of intrinsic value to all kinds of products. For example in the clothes industry a grumpy brand name is nothing but intellectual property, a brand name is an intangible asset. But clothes sell because it has a brand name, so here we see and understand that how intellectual property adds value to products. Creators of various products and services and people who have various ideas have the right to protect their ideas and in like manner they have the right to share their ideas with others too.INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND ITS IMPORTANCE IN VARIOUS PARTS OF THE WORLDThe importance of intellectual property and their rights varies in different parts of the world. Various law enforcement agencies around the world give different levels of importance to intellectual property. Intellectual property now a day has become more and more important and almost all the countries who depend on international trade are taking some interest in intellectual property and its related rights. It has been found by a study that intellectual property rights are a reason of stress and tension amongst countries who indulge in international trade. It becomes difficult for inter-country trade to take place smoothly if there are a lot of intellectual property rights which are present. Moreover the endemical industrialists and other people who have innovated are harmed if their intellectual property rights are completely abolished. Therefore it is a must for the countries to strike a balance surrounded by the two.In the new century common intellectual property rights are being formed by various countries in order to get over hindrances and problems of trade. This is seen as a positive step by all and it is almost assured that this step will benefit the international step positively. The TRIPSs agreement of the world trade organisation is one such step which defines the level of intellectual property rights a given member can enforce and this has helped in tapering the gap in international trade. This agreement defines basically the minimum level of intellectual property security department that a government can give to its citizens and it also defines the maximum level of intellectual property protection which may be provided by a member country. The countries must form their intellectual property rights and laws in such a manner that a balance is struck between vast term benefits and the short term losses that a countrys citizens may need to pay.Society will benefit if intellectual property rights encourage protection up to only a limit and such rights are given in special cases only. But the concerned governments should also ensure that some basic level of protection for intellectual property must also exist and they should be properly applied and the peoples right mu st be protected properly. (Intellectual property Protection and Enforcement)WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO PROTECT INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY?Issues regarding intellectual property are growing by the day. There are a lot of talks going on related to intellectual property rights these days. Most of the times, these issues are given more attention. The aspect of protecting intellectual property has become more important these days than it should be. It is demanding far too much attention that it deserves in reality. We need to understand the basics and look into the fact that why in the first place was intellectual property rights formed. We need to understand what role do such rights play in todays world. We come at a conclusion that protecting intellectual property rights of individuals and groups and companies is a basic social requirement. It is a need of any society to have its intellectual property rights protected more than anything else.COPYRIGHTS INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY ON THE WORLD WIDE WE BProtecting intellectual property plays an important role in the overall development of the nation on the grounds of economy, society etc. Copyrights are one of the most important forms of intellectual property rights. Copyrights are nothing but an assurance to people that they are allowed to reap the fruits of their hard work and they will get the credit that is collectible to them for inventing something new. As we know that social intellectual property rights also play in intrinsic part in the social development of any society.Copyrights in particular are used more while protecting social intellectual property. Artists and creators protect their intellectual property with the help of copyrights. Now a stupor a new concept of piracy has developed in the modern world. Piracy is the unofficial use of copyrighted material. Movies and songs around the world are being pirated on a very wide scale. Songs and movies are copyrights of their producers and they have the right to earn mone y whenever someone is using them, due to piracy the work of art and hard work is being distributed around the world without the producers getting any money from it. This is the reason why downloading pirated movies and songs have become illegal in countries like United States of America, United Kingdom, and Australia etc. Cyber crimes are one of the main threats to intellectual property. The most common source of damaging intellectual property in the twenty-first century is through the internet. But it must be noted here that most of the countries in the world still have no laws against cyber crimes and now laws to protect intellectual property from being misused through the internet. It must be also noted that by the turn of the 21st century the intellectual property rights had also become rigid in many countries which were applying them since the 1980s and 90s. It had almost become impossible for people to enter into many fields because they had become so rigid, and companies which were already in a given field had got patented and copyrighted almost anything and everything that could be researched in that field. There were many areas of business which were being prevail by large production houses and such production houses had virtually created their monopoly with the help of misusing the intellectual property rights. The areas in which patent can be taken are being cut down and existing patents and copyrights which are basically being misused are also being taken away. We must realise that collision a balance when it comes to intellectual property rights is becoming very important. More than often we are finding that such intellectual property rights are misused by the rich and powerful rather than being used to protect their interests. They use such rights in order to prevent others from progressing and not to prevent their own property being misused. (Intellectual Property-Rights and Wrongs)Governments should also realise that not only is striking a bal ance important to protect the society but its also important when it comes to international trade.SHARING MATERIALThe debate on whether to share or not the copyrighted material is a never ending one. There are a thousand views and no one can be said to be the perfect one. As the 21st century has dawned in people have discovered various methods of sharing material. A new term called peer to peer (P2P) sharing has developed. Peer to peer sharing is happening on an unthinkable scale over the internet every second. Most of it is happening for free and the content it involves is usually copyrighted. Keeping aside the arguments and debates sharing material should depend on whether the owner of the material has realised his cost out of the article and his profit out of it, if yes, then the material should be shared otherwise no. This is the simplest and the most affective argument related to sharing which experts have.CONCLUSIONAs we conclude this report we find out that intellectual prop erty the concept itself is not very old. This concept was formed somewhere in the late 19th century. Although it has gained huge popularity only in the 1970s and after that it is continuously increasing. Intellectual property itself could be defined as new ideas and techniques, and new discoveries etc. Intellectual property is an intangible asset. As the concept of intellectual property has gained importance even the concept of intellectual property protection has also gained importance. Countries like England, U.S.A., and Australia are more stringent while applying intellectual property protection. Developing and under-developed countries have less protection to provide to intellectual property. Intellectual property has become a very important part of many businesses and industries in developed countries. Intellectual property is very important and all nations should have laws to protect intellectual property. All nations must duly recognise the intellectual properties of their in dividuals. We must understand that intellectual property disdain being intangible is very important. Economists all around the world have agreed that intellectual property adds huge value to subjects. As the concept of intellectual property has grown so has the criticism around it grown. People believe that the concepts of intellectual property and its protection only create confusions and complications in trade and it is just useful at all. With the 21st century knocking on our doors intellectual property protection has become very important as there are many ways now that one can have his intellectual property misused and abused. With the development of internet and its vast usage all throughout the world, crimes related to misuse of intellectual property have grown. Articles, pieces of art like movies and songs which are copyrighted to protect the rights of their producers are being openly misused on the internet through piracy.Last but not the least in order to improve the intern ational trade and in order to ensure long term development of society, countries need to strike a balance on how to protect the peoples intellectual property. The laws should not be too lenient neither should they be too stringent.
